AFL WAG Rebecca Judd shows off her family's Mount Buller ski chalet renovation

Rebecca Judd has showed off her interior design skills, sharing pictures of the impressive renovation she completed on her family’s Mount Buller ski chalet.

In a series of posts on Instagram Stories on Friday, the 39-year-old AFL WAG uploaded before and after photos of the extensive renovation.

Bec revealed it had taken just 10 weeks to complete the works, having overhauled the property’s living room, kitchen, dining area, mudroom and bathroom.

Sharing a ‘before’ photo of the open plan kitchen, living and dining areas, Bec said the versatile space was dated with timber furnishings and blue carpet.

She then posted a photo from ‘during’ the renovation, revealing the whole area had been gutted.

An ‘after’ photo, taken ’10 weeks later’, showed the refreshed space, which had been outfitted with modern white furnishings, wooden floorboards and a marble kitchen.

Another photo showed the mudroom – an entryway for residents to hang coats and remove muddy boots and wet clothing before entering the home – after it had been gutted.

The ‘after’ photo revealed a sleek space complete with coat hooks, plush stools, a heater, tiled floor and glass door.

Bec also showed off the chalet’s newly renovated bathroom, which had also been completely gutted.

The new space featured a double shower, floating counter and vessel sinks, while pale grey and white tiles added to the relaxing aesthetic.

Bec shares the property with her husband of 12 years, former Australian rules footballer Chris Judd.

They have four young children together: son Oscar, 10, daughter Billie, eight, and twin sons Darcy and Tom, five.

Bec spoke about renovating the chalet in a series of posts on Instagram back in December, revealing how much she’d enjoyed the process.

‘The first time I’ve been able to say “interior design by me”. I think I’ve found my new favourite thing to do,’ she admitted.

Bec and Chris, 38, are no strangers to home renovations after previously transforming their Spanish colonial-style mansion in Melbourne’s Brighton, which they bought for $7.3million in March 2018.
