The screen icon, 84, who plays the fiercely independent Vivian in the film, showcased her incredible frame in the elegant floral lace applique gown with statement shoulders, as she filmed alongside a dapper Don, 72, who plays Arthur.
Jane wore her fiery tresses in flicks and sported floral details in her bob, paired with diamond earrings for filming at the Castello della Castelluccia hotel, outside Rome.

She clutched onto a bouquet as she joined Don in a marquee, before placing her hands on his chest as they said their vows.
Don looked dapper in a blue shirt and tie, worn with a slate grey suit as he filmed the emotional scenes.
Book Club saw the pair’s character reunite – after Vivian rejected Arthur’s proposal some 40 years before. Arthur asked Vivian to commit to a relationship but she declined. However, realising she has made a mistake, she tries to catch him at the airport.
However she misses his airplane, but when she returns to her hotel, she finds Arthur waiting for her and they rekindle their relationship.

The film is a sequel to the 2018 movie, Book Club, which was a huge success at the box office.

The second installment will take the ladies out of the country and abroad to romantic Italy.
Due to the high success of the first movie, a star-studded sequel was born.
Steenburgen dropped a hint back in 2019 that a sequel would be in production when she was interviewed by Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM show.

‘I guess we’re doing Book Club 2 because the film was incredibly successful,’ the actress said. ‘It made so much money.’
The first film had a budget of $14million and made a whopping $104million in the box office.
The 2018 movie was based around four middle-aged women who read Fifty Shades of Grey for their book club.

Upon reading the steamy novel, the women’s lives were changed in both a comedic and heart-warming story.
Fonda, Keaton, and Steenburgen all have Academy Awards under their belts, while Bergen has received both Emmy and Golden Globe awards.
When a talented and dedicated cast is put together, the final product is quite amazing.
Bill Holderman directed the 2018 film, and will also be director of Book Club 2.
Production for Book Club 2 is still in the works, and a final release date is still not finalized.
