Brexit LIVE: Red tape fury leaves UK firms nervous over major review 'Can't afford wait'


William Bain, head of trade policy at the British Chambers of Commerce, said the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) contains over 1,000 restrictions on cross-border trade in services. He said there is a need for greater flexibility with the EU for greater clarity on short-stay business travel in the bloc. Mr Bains told the FT: “Businesses can’t afford to wait until the TCA review in 2026.”
