With the boy band member’s injury healing nicely, it doesn’t seem likely that he will miss any of the band’s upcoming shows.

The South Korean super group has four performances coming up in mid-April at the recently built Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Jin’s surgery is just the latest medical issue he’s had to deal with in the past few months. The star, alongside his bandmates Suga and RM, tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of December last year.

All seven members of the band were fully vaccinated when the trio tested positive for the virus, Big Hit Music said in a statement at the time.

Jin had previously undergone two PCR tests and tested negative before the end of his quarantine period, Big Hit said. Jin subsequently took another PCR test in which he tested positive after showing flu-like symptoms.

About 10 days after contracting the disease, Jin and Suga had made a full recovery, and RM never exhibited symptoms.

The group also consists of Jimin, who contracted COVID-19 later in January, V, who caught the disease in February, J-Hope and Jungkook.

Dealt with COVID: Over the past few months, five of the seven band members have tested positive for COVID-19. The five are: Jin, Suga, RM, V and Jimin (L-R: V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, J-Hope)
