Chantel Jeffries brings the heat in a bold orange tie-dye dress at Revolve Festival

Chantel Jeffries was among the high-profile people to attend the Revolve Festival, which brings some of the biggest stars to Coachella’s most coveted party during the opening weekend.

Wanting to showcase her fab figure, the DJ and influencer stepped out in a form-fitting, orange and brown tie-dye minidress with matching opera gloves.

Returning for its fifth year after a three-year hiatus, Ty Dolla $ign, Bia and Jessie Murph were among the musical acts to hit the stage at the Revolve bash in La Quinta, California on Saturday.

Jeffries, 29, struck a number of poses in the strapless number which she accessorized with a gold waist chain.

She also donned a pair of beige high-top sneakers, and had her dark brown tresses styled straight and flowing a few inches past her shoulders with a center part.

After attending the bash, Jeffries – who has been showcasing her DJ skills in recent days – made her way to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

After a spirited performance by headliner Harry Styles on Friday night, Billie Eilish made history as the youngest headliner to grace the big stage at Coachella on Saturday.

This year’s Coachella line-up featured a massive change earlier this month when it was announced that The Weeknd alongside Swedish House Mafia would be replacing Sunday night’s headliner Kanye West.

The Weeknd (born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) and the house music group – consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso – have a working relationship, collaborating on hit song – Moth To A Flame. The two artists also have the same management team SALXCO.

It still remains unclear whether the two Sunday headliners will perform together or if they will be switching off, given the short time frame they were added after Ye dropped out of the lineup.

This will also be Swedish House Mafia’s big return to the highly-popular music festival as they have not performed at the massive event since 2012, which was the year before they disbanded in 2013 at their absolute peak of popularity.

The Weeknd first hit the Coachella stage in 2012, and then three years later in 2015. He officially headlined the festival in 2018 with Beyonce and rapper Eminem.

Rapper West, 44, was set to co-headline the annual festival, but then earlier this month he announced he would no longer hit the stage, forcing organizers scrambling to salvage the show and find a replacement.

Travis Scott was expected to be appearing with Kanye, who has officially changed his name to Ye, but now he too will no longer perform.

Scott had been tapped to headline the festival in 2020 before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was then booked again for 2022 but organizers scrapped those plans after his Astroworld concert tragedy that left 10 people dead and many more injured.

It remains unclear exactly why Ye pulled out of the show so last minute. A source has claimed to Variety that West had not rehearsed or prepared for the appearance.

The hip hop legend’s last-minute drop out came months after he was banned from the Grammys for his ‘concerning online behavior’ and attacks against ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.

He also published several offensive posts to Instagram about this year’s Grammys host Trevor Noah, which prompted the social media platform to suspend his account for 24-hours for violating its terms of service.

Beyond the headliners, the show has a star-studded line-up that includes the likes of Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Disclosure, Jamie XX, Run The Jewels, Big Sean, Karol G, Maggie Rogers, 21 Savage, and famed composer Danny Elfman.

Back in January 2021 it was announced that the highly-popular music festival in Indio, California would be returning in Spring 2022 after two years of rescheduling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the world’s largest musical festivals, the concert has been held nearly every spring in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado desert since 1999.

After being pushed back due to the pandemic, the festival announced its long awaited return on New Year’s Day 2021 with a simple tweet that read: ‘See you in the desert’

When the coronavirus crisis hit the U.S. the festival rescheduled from April 2020 to October 2020, before being outright cancelled for the first time in 20 years that June.

The Coachella 2020 lineup featured Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, and Travis Scott as headliners, with a full lineup including Lana Del Rey, Lil Uzi Vert, Thom Yorke, Run the Jewels, Danny Elfman, FKA twigs, DaBaby, 21 Savage, Caribou, Lil Nas X, and more.

The festival was then rescheduled for April 2021, before being canceled again in January after California’s public health officer ordered Coachella to scrap the event due to continued safety concerns over COVID-19.

The music festival attracts over 250,000 attendees over two weekends to dance, rave and rock out to a wide variety of artists.

SUNDAY NIGHT: The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia

This year’s Coachella line-up featured a massive change as earlier this month it was announced that The Weekend alongside Swedish House Mafia would be replacing Sunday night’s headliner Kanye West.

The Weeknd and the house music group – consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso – have a working relationship as they collaborated on hit track Moth To A Flame together and also have the same management team SALXCO.

It remains unclear how the headlining gig will work meaning whether one will perform after the other or if they will be switching off but the publication’s sources said The Weeknd’s portion will likely be shorter given the time restraints to prepare for the show.

This will also be Swedish House Mafia’s big return to the highly-popular music festival as they have not performed at it since 2012 as they disbanded in 2013 at their absolute peak of popularity.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Billie Eilish

At just 20-years-old, Billie Eilish is one of the biggest pop stars in the world and will be headlining day 2 of the highly-popular festival.

She has performed at Coachella one another time in 2019 (the last time the festival was held due to COVID-19 related postponements) which was not one of her most shining moments as she notably started her set 40 minutes late, forgot lyrics to her songs, and even tripped on stage.

Eilish spoke to V Magazine last month about the tough experience on one of the biggest stages of her career as she said: ‘I really resent the things that were surrounding me during that period of time. I had that ruined for me by a person, but that’s ok.’

She did not further clarify who that person was but based on scenes from her 2021 documentary The World’s A Little Blurry, she could be referring to then-boyfriend Brandon Adams.

The Los Angeles native may be relatively young age but she is a veteran of the music industry as she first gained public attention at the age of 13 with her debut single Ocean Eyes.

She along with her older brother and fellow artist known as FINNEAS have become one of the biggest acts in music with several chart-topping hits and award recognition including  seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two Guinness World Records, three MTV Video Music Awards, three Brit Awards, a Golden Globe Award and even an Academy Award.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Harry Styles

This will mark the first time Harry Styles has ever performed at Coachella and it is a headlining gig.

The 28-year-old boyfriend of Olivia Wilde has had a very successful solo career after being part of one of the best-selling boybands of all time in One Direction.

The British artist’s musical career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on British reality singing competition show X Factor as he was brought back to join the singing group after his elimination.

After the group disbanded in 2016, he released a self-titled solo album through Columbia records which debuted at number one in the UK and US in 2017.

His second album, titled Fine Line, was released in 2019 also debuted atop the charts making for the biggest first-week sales by an English male artist in chart history.

Later this year Styles will put out his third full-length album, titled Harry’s House, as he released chart topping single As It Was earlier this month to hype up the release.
