Chris Pine dons blue suit at Comic-Con Sao Paulo for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves panel

Emmy nominee Chris Pine was in great spirits as he reunited with the cast and filmmakers of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves for a panel at Comic-Con São Paulo on Sunday.

The 42-year-old third-generation actor – who last made headlines going on a date with Zoë Kravitz – hyped up the Brazilian crowd by pogo-jumping in a baby-blue Giuliva Heritage suit.

Chris paired his slim suit with a white plunging top and brown sandal-style loafers selected by styling duo Wendi & Nicole Ferreira.

Hairstylist David Cox made sure to groom Pine’s newly-chopped locks and salt and pepper beard for the CCXP event.

At one point, the Don’t Worry Darling actor performed an Irish jig onstage – perhaps as an ode to their Northern Ireland filming locations in Belfast, Carrickfergus, Bangor, and Strangford.

Chris executive produced and stars as The Bard, who leads a team of thieves, in the fantasy adventure heist film – which will be released only in theaters March 31 in the States and April 7 in the UK.

‘The Bard has zero skills besides trying to charm people, start a party, inspire and I leave all of the heavy lifting to my sorcerers and con men,’ Pine explained during a panel.

‘I played the loot and I sang a little bit and I danced. Really, that is the preparation that I had for this role was slim. Everybody else got to fight with swords and dragons and stuff. But me, it was just rap and spoken word poetry.’

And while there were plenty of ‘Pinenuts’ cheering for the UC Berkeley grad at the event, there were just as many fans of his castmate Hugh Grant chanting: ‘Hugh, Hugh, Hugh, Hugh!’

The irascible 62-year-old Englishman – who plays Forge Fitzwilliam the Rogue – seemed genuinely touched, even cracking a smile as the crowd went wild.

The decibel level also grew exponentially when Bridgerton heartthrob Regé-Jean Page – who plays Xenk the Paladin – was introduced, and he made his hands into a heart shape in response.

Former child star Justice Smith – who plays Simon the Sorcerer – impressed the panel by addressing the audience in their native Portuguese.

Also on the Dungeons & Dragons panel were producer Jeremy Latcham and directing duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
