Daniel Bedingfield fans go WILD over his glow up as the singer looks unrecognisable

Daniel Bedingfield fans went wild after the singer showed off his incredible glow up in a new and rare social media snap of himself posted on Friday.

The Gotta Get Thru This hitmaker, now 42, looked ruggedly handsome as he posed, sporting a slimmer look and bushy beard.

Fans of the pop star were delighted that he shared a picture of himself – the first in six months – and pointed out his hunky new look.

In the snap he posed in an unbuttoned white patterned shirt and accessorised with a silver necklace while smoldering for the camera.

He wrote candidly in the caption: ‘Loving the strength returning to my heart finally, after all that Trump, covid, stuck in America bullshit. I’m free!’

Daniel was last seen on TV in 2016 when he appeared on Lorraine – causing a stir among fans who delighted at his interview.

The then 36-year-old appeared on the chat show, alongside singer Heidi Range, to promote West End musical War Of The Worlds, which they both were appearing in at the time.

Viewers took to Twitter to remark on how well the ‘slim’ and ‘handsome’ the hitmaker looked, with some remarking on how lovely it was that he is still alive.

One viewer wrote: ‘Daniel Bedingfield is hardly recognisable #GMB.’

While another posted: ‘Ooooh @DanielBedingfld is looking GOOD on @reallorraine this morning.’

A third added: ‘@DanielBedingfld wow well yr looking good on it babe.’

And while it’s true he was involved in a horrific car accident in 2004, the singer is alive and well and has been living in America for the past ten years, songwriting for other artists.

One post read: ‘Jesuuuuus Christ Daniel Bedingfield is actually alive.’

A second said: ‘Blimey Daniel bedingfield is still alive #Igottagetthroughthis.’

In April 2015, a year before he went on Lorraine the singer himself tweeted: ‘So apparently I’m not dead according to Google. Fair enough.’

Daniel burst onto the scene in 2001 and his first album Gotta Get Thru This was one of the best-selling albums of the early 2000s (selling over 1.6m in the UK alone). It had six top 40 hits and three number one singles.

Daniel was then named Best Male at the 2004 Brit Awards. He then released his second album – Second First Impression – the very same year as his Brits triumph.

Daniel scored a huge number one in 2001 with Gotta Get Thru This, the dance-pop-R&B-garage hybrid.

A year later, he had a second number one, but with a totally different sound – the love song If You’re Not the One.

He had a third number one with another ballad, Never Gonna Leave Your Side.

His other hits included James Dean, I Can’t Read You, Nothing Hurts Like Love and Wrap My Words Around You.

In 2004 he was nearly killed in a serious car accident in New Zealand. He was left with severe head and neck injuries after his car rolled off the road.

During his recovery time, he also began co-writing for other artists, including American Idol finalist David Archuleta, X Factor winner Ben Haenow and Pixie Lott.

Daniel returned to the UK in 2016, when he joined the cast of the West End production of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds alongside the likes of Jimmy Nail, David Essex and Heidi Range.

However, despite positive reviews for his performance as the Artilleryman, he quit the production after just a few weeks.

Sources claimed there had been ‘tensions’ backstage, while his spokesperson said he left due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

Daniel is still making music and writing with other artists, but he prefers to keep a low profile.

He is still active on social media, but rarely posts updates.
