Dwayne Johnson brings comic book character Black Adam to life in action packed trailer


Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson plays Black Adam, a former slave that died and became a God, who is awoken in the modern times.

The trailer for the film dropped on Wednesday, featuring the movie star as the antihero.

Black Adam – set in the DC Extended Universe – is set to arrive in theaters on October 21, 2022.

The trailer for Black Adam opens with Pierce Brosnan’s character Dr. Fate describing him as he is seen being brought back to life.

‘Black Adam. What have your powers ever given to you? Nothing but heartache,’ Pierce said.

The footage shows Black Adam getting wheeled into a lab and covered in water for an experiment of some sort. 

‘I was a slave until I died,’ Dwayne, 50, says, as a scene of him about to get killed plays out.
