At the end of December, TMZ reported Erika, Lisa Rinna, and Garcelle Beauvais were back shooting scenes for RHOBH after finally testing negative for COVID.

At the time of their COVID diagnosis, TMZ reported the three women were all vaccinated and experiencing mild symptoms.

‘The girls who are sick are trying to take care of themselves. The other cast members are nervous now that they might have it. Production is taking every precaution to keep people safe,’ a source said to People magazine.

In addition to the three stars, a crew member working on the show tested positive. Producers placed the show on a two-week hiatus to re-evaluate production.

Once everyone returns, everyone will be tested multiple times before arriving onto the set, which was already the protocol in place, according to TMZ.

After news broke of her COVID diagnosis, Erika posted a silly meme capturing her and Lisa wearing their pajamas and bathrobes along with the caption ‘Delta and Omicron showing up to ruin everyone’s plans.’

Erika’s current embezzlement scandal with her estranged husband Tom Girardi will be a major plot point in the new season of Housewives.

Erika and Tom were named as defendants in a federal lawsuit alleging they stole settlement funds meant for the families of the victims of the 2018 Lion Air crash.

As the case against the Girardi’s unfolded, Erika revealed during last season’s reunion that her own legal team told her to quit the show and stop filming season 11.

‘I had nothing to hide. And they said, ‘Well, you know, that can get flipped around on you. … Everything can be parsed, twisted, turned, and yes, possibly used against you whether it is true or not. It almost doesn’t even matter at this point,’ she explained.

Andy Cohen probed: ‘Did you ever think of quitting the show?’

‘Yes,’ she replied. ‘But I’m not a quitter, and I wanted to honor my commitment, and I wasn’t going to run away from what’s coming at me.’
