FMQs LIVE: Row erupts as Sturgeon urged to 'come clean' over investigation into key ally

The First Minister is coming under pressure today to disclose the outcome of an investigation into claims made against her key ally and former Cabinet colleague Fergus Ewing. She has refused to do so on the grounds of “GDPR privacy issues”, sparking furious backlash from the opposition. Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar said: “Nicola Sturgeon must come clean on the outcome of this bullying case – and explain what action her government has taken to tackle this problem in her party.” The comments come as Ms Sturgeon prepares to battle Mr Sarwar and Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross for the first time since the local election results last week. The First Minister’s Questions (FMQs) will begin at 12:00.
