Grace and Frankie reflect on their 'crazy ride' in trailer for the final 12 episodes


On Thursday, Netflix unveiled the trailer for the final 12 episodes of the seventh (and final) season of Grace and Frankie, which resumes on April 29.

Two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda and Oscar nominee Lily Tomlin executive produce and star as Ménage à Moi sex toy CEOs Grace Hanson Skolka and Frances ‘Frankie’ Bergstein in the series.

‘It was a crazy ride with you,’ Grace tells Frankie in the reflective two-minute preview.

Frankie then referred to the suicidal end of Ridley Scott’s 1991 film starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon: ‘Unless we do a Thelma and Louise thing, which I’m open to.’

‘We are not done yet and the best is yet to come,’ Grace declares.   

On November 5, Netflix confirmed that the 84-year-old acting legend and the 82-year-old comedy icon’s 9 to 5 co-star Dolly Parton would appear in the seventh season, despite not being in the trailer.

‘When Covid’s over! I’ve been trying to do Grace and Frankie for years. We worked so well together on 9 to 5,’ the 76-year-old national treasure told Lorraine last year.

‘It’s a crazy, wonderful show and we’ve been trying to write me in somehow. So when it’s safe to actually do a production, I’ll probably get around to doing that.’

It’s been 42 years since the talented trio got revenge against their sexist boss (Dabney Coleman) in Colin Higgins’ critically-acclaimed office comedy, which amassed $103.3M at the global box office.
