‘No I’m not wearing jeggings!’ Dan Walker hilariously claps back after BBC Breakfast viewers get distracted by his VERY tight trousers
Dan Walker has clapped back after fans claimed his very tight trousers distracted them from his news reading skills during Tuesday’s episode of BBC Breakfast.
The presenter, 44, was accused of wearing ‘jeggings’ by viewers, who mistook his skin-tight navy suit for a pair of leggings that look like skin-tight jeans.
Putting on an ever-dapper display, he continued his look with a coordinating blazer and a white shirt, while accessorising his look with a smart grey tie.

Hilariously rushing to Twitter to share their amusement, one home audience member: ‘Is @mrdanwalker wearing jeggings this morning on @BBCBreakfast?’
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant soon replied: ‘No he isn’t [laughing emoji] #RegulationTrousers.’
Others wrote: ‘It must be a trick of the light!’ and, ‘He has to wear what the BBC tell him to wear!’
It comes after Dan shared rare family snaps as he enjoyed a half term break to Rome with wife Sarah and their three children Susanna, Joe and Jessica.
Comedian: Dan was forced to defend himself after the episode aired, but appeared to have taken the comments on the chin
The TV personality took to Instagram where he posted the snaps of their Italian holiday, but was sure not to show his kids’ faces.
Dan was dressed in a padded green coat and beige chinos, while carrying his belongings in a black backpack.
In one photograph, he smiled over his shoulder towards the camera while holding his daughters’ hands.

Another shot posted to his Instagram Stories showed Dan stood proudly next to his only son, whose face he covered with the Italian flag.
Included in his highlights, was a sweet handwritten note Dan received from young fans on their flight over to Rome.
Dan wrote alongside his upload: ‘Well… we’ve had a lovely little family trip to Rome during half-term. I’ve been there covering sporting events before but never had a good look around. It’s basically like a giant museum!
‘So much to see and the food was [yummy]. On the grub issue… Suppli are actually amazing – little fried parcels of rice with mozzarella inside and the focaccia we found from Forno Campo de’ Fioro was out of this world.
‘And… thank you to the gorgeous Riya & Asha who passed me this letter at the end of our flight. I had a lovely chat with them and they were incredibly polite. As promised, I will tell @nadiyabychkova that we were their [Strictly] favourites.
‘Take care in the wind out there everyone. P.S. I haven’t left BBC Breakfast… I was just on holiday.’
