Injured Today host Allison Langdon is carried across the MCG by a producer as she presents the Today show from the sports ground with Karl Stefanovic ahead of Shane Warne’s memorial

She’s continued to suffer complications after injuring her knee from a hydrofoiling accident one year ago.

And on Wednesday, Allison Langdon was carried across the MCG by a producer as she presented the Today show from the sports ground with co-host Karl Stefanovic.

The 42-year-old couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she was lifted into the air and carried across the sporting field.

Allison looked stylish in a red suit jacket, matching coloured pants and a black shirt for the show.

She completed her look with a pair of white sneakers and tied her long blonde locks in a ponytail.

Meanwhile, Karl looked dapper in beige pants, a white buttoned shirt and black coat.

The 47-year-old was spotted chatting to his brother Peter, who is currently a co-host of First Edition on Sky News Australia.

The TV hosts are currently presenting at the MCG ahead of Shane Warne’s memorial.

Warne’s memorial will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday night at 7pm following the legend’s death in Thailand on March 4.

Just days after Warne’s death the MCG decided to rename its Great Southern Stand to the Shane Warne Stand, which will be unveiled at the memorial.

His son Jackson, 22, told Jam TV – owned by family friend Eddie McGuire – the MCG is the perfect place to farewell his father because he had so many great moments on the ground.

‘I think there’s no other better place in the whole world for Melburnians, Victorians, Australians and people from around the world that loved him as a cricketer and a mate – to come and say goodbye,’ he said.

‘He’s got a statue out the front, and to have a grandstand named after him now is just unbelievable.

‘As sad as it is for all of us, to come and sit down at this ground for the rest of our lives and be able to say we’re sitting in Dad’s stand forever is pretty special, and I couldn’t think of a better place around the world to have a send-off for him because this is what he deserves.

‘I think Dad always loved a crowd, he always loved putting on a performance.’
