Ireland Baldwin flashes a wide smile while posing for a pair of selfies with her mother Kim Basinger

Ireland Baldwin shared a pair of selfies with her mother, Kim Basinger, to her Instagram account on Friday.

In the shots, the 26-year-old model and the actress, 68, flashed wide smiles while posing for the camera, and the social media personality simply wrote ‘Momma’ in the post’s caption.

Basinger shares her daughter with her former husband, Alec Baldwin, who has received much media attention for past comments he made about his eldest child.

Ireland was dressed in a fuzzy yellow sweater while spending quality time with her mother.

The model’s gorgeous brunette hair was pulled back tightly as she posed for the picture.

Basinger rocked a crimson red button-up jacket on top of a white t-shirt during her outing with her daughter.

The L.A Confidential actress’ lovely blonde locks fell onto her shoulders and chest.

The former couple welcomed their daughter after three years of marriage, which came to an end in 2002.

Ireland was previously the subject of widespread media attention when an audio recording of her being berated by her father was released in 2007.

During the call, the social media personality was notably referred to as a ‘thoughtless little pig,’ according to Newsweek.

Last month, Ireland posted a TikTok video making fun of the infamous voice mail.

Ireland hopped aboard a new TikTok trend where celebs dance to the song That’s Not My Name by The Ting Tings and list the epithets they have been given.

As Ireland danced around her kitchen, one of the names for her that appeared onscreen was: ‘thoughtless little pig.’

Others included ‘well-off, silver spoon fed brat w/ no real job,’ ‘fat’ and ‘attention seeking, voluptuous, promiscuous.’

At the end of the video, text appeared that read: ‘My name is Ireland. I’m a writer. And I think pigs are cute so jokes on you.’

She then posted the video to Instagram and wrote in the caption: ‘I can’t even tell you how much time I’ve wasted worrying about headlines and comments. Can you believe that? Can you believe how much control we give others and how much power we give their narratives.’

Ireland added: ‘Maybe you don’t experience this on the scale that I do, but the majority of us have been called names and have had assumptions made about us. I hardly read articles that come out about me in general but often times when I do, I’m always sexualized in someway or compared to my parents in another.’

She declared: ‘Unfortunately, positivity and good news hardly sells. The media is one giant garbage dump and I could give less of a s*** what they call me…’

Ireland went on: ‘I know who I am for the first time in a long time and I’m excited to show you what I’ve been working on.

‘I know that my decision to work in the entertainment industry will of course bring on the constant comparison to the achievements of both my parents, and I continue to embrace the parts of myself that are indeed like them… but I am very excited to show you the individual that I am and the person I’ve grown to very proud of.’

She concluded: ‘I don’t give a f*** what you think about how I look, what I wear, what I think and say, and damn does it feel good to get to this point.’
