Kanye West's lawyer making custody a top priority as she seeks to establish formal arrangement

Kanye West’s lawyer is making custody a top priority as she seeks to establish a formal arrangement between West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West, 44, and Kim, 41, currently have no official custody arrangement in place and have been attempting to figure it out themselves, but things have been getting progressively worse between the two in recent days, and the drama has been playing out publicly.

But now, Samantha Spector, West’s lawyer, plans on establishing a formal arrangement between the two. Should that fail, Spector is prepared to go to a judge to implement ground rules regarding custody and visitation, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, Kim has allowed Kanye to visit their children whenever the Stronger rapper is in town and desires to do so, so long as their kids are not busy. The exes share four children, North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two.

However, establishing a formal custody arrangement with Kanye can be difficult due to his frequent travels outside of Los Angeles.

The prospect of coming to a resolution out of court appears unlikely, reports TMZ, given Kanye’s anger over Kim’s new relationship with Pete Davidson and custody issues.

Insiders have told TMZ the exes barely speak to one another and have not communicated in some time. This, of course, makes coming to an agreement tough.

Kim and Kanye’s feud over parenting their children continued over the weekend with the rapper blasting his ex over various issues and Kim firing back.

According to Us Weekly, Kim is ‘deeply hurt’ by how Kanye’s posts could impact their daughter.

‘Kim is deeply hurt by the fact that North could come across Kanye’s posts and it could affect her,’ an insider told the site. ‘She’s doing her best with the joint custody, but there are certain things that are hard to control.’

Kim ‘hopes’ things between them will eventually improve.

‘She and Kanye don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things which is very unfortunate, but it’s what she’s dealing with,’ the source said. ‘It’s a daily struggle and she hopes they can soon coparent amicably.’

Kim hit back at Kanye over the weekend on social media, asking him to ‘stop with this narrative’ after he posted a photo of an alien pinned between himself and Kim on North’s backpack.

Kanye, who accused his ex of ‘parental alienation’, shared a photo of the bag and wrote: ‘This is what was on my daughter’s back pack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week.’

But Kim took umbrage at the suggestion she was holding back from letting Kanye see North, responding in his comments: ‘Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school.’

It was a bold and rare move for the Hulu reality star, as she finally responded to Kanye for the world to see, and his 15.5million followers on Instagram.

In Kanye’s original post, he wrote: ‘This was on my daughters back pack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week This is why I go so hard for my family.’

He added: ‘I am wired to protect my family at all cost. As the priest of my home Don’t worry Northy God is still alive.’

Even Kim’s boyfriend Pete wade into the drama as he asked Kanye to meet in person in a bid to stop the endless attacks against himself and Kim.

The request was made in a text message the comedian had sent Kanye, and the exchange was posted to comedian Dave Sirus’ account on Sunday.

Pete even sent Kanye a selfie he had taken while in bed with Kim.
