For her latest outing Katie selected a fashionable short-sleeved V-neck sweater with a Hamptons chic black and navy chessboard print.

She slipped into a pair of skintight dark jeans that complemented her black leather Gucci bag and rounded off the outfit with white sneakers.

Wearing her hair in a sleek little bob, she warded off the rays with sunglasses and added a touch of glitz to the look with a heart pendant.

While she was at The Grove a photographer asked whether she and Tom might decide to patch up their marriage and she replied: ‘I don’t think so.’

However she insisted that they were undergoing a ‘loving’ and ‘peaceful’ split, adding: ‘I could not have asked for a better situation,’ according to E! News.

She assured the photographer there was ‘No infidelity’ at the root of the divorce and explained: ‘We just grew apart, you know. We have a great friendship but things just happen sometimes, unfortunately.’

Just this past weekend she and Tom were spotted stepping out together to the Studio City restaurant Mr. O’s.

Her trip to The Grove came a day before People reported that she listed ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for her divorce.

In documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this Tuesday, she gave the date of separation as February 12 and revealed neither party wanted spousal support.

She and Tom were together for 12 years and held a wedding in 2016, although the paperwork required to make the marriage official was not completed until 2019.

Each of them released a separate Instagram statement on March 15 announcing that they had decided to get divorced.

‘I never thought I would have to make an announcement like this. But I feel it’s important that I’m open about my life with you,’ she began.

‘After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage. This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose,’ she maintained. ‘We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship.’

She concluded: ‘Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another’s happiness. Thank you for all the kind words and support.’

‘I’m not quite ready to use the “D” word bc it’s too painful,’ Tom confessed in his own statement. ‘Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok,’ he shared.

‘Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy.’

He wrote that despite the fights he and Katie had that were filmed for Vanderpump Rules ‘we had some of the most blissful, romantic , fun times humanely possible over the course of our relationship. I’m talking heaven on earth level joy.’

Katie recorded an emotional episode of her podcast You’re Gonna Love Me entitled  The Hardest Decision I Ever Made and focusing on her divorce.

She confirmed the split was ‘my decision’ but clarified that it had not been precipitated by ‘crazy fight’ or ‘crazy incident’ between them.

Tom and Katie were still living together, she said, noting that they were ‘still figuring out the next steps. Obviously, I don’t think we’re not going to live together forever, but you know, there’s a lot of details and logistics to figure out there.’

Acknowledging that ‘a lot of times divorce and things like that can feel embarrassing or like a failure,’ she said that she had felt ‘disconnected’ from Tom for a long time.

Katie ‘got to a point where’ she felt she ‘was going to burst for months’ as she geared herself up to finally bring the subject up to him.

She explained that they are now ‘trying to hang out’ with mutual friends without having it be ‘awkward for anyone’ or have anyone feel the need to ‘choose sides.’
