Her time on Hollyoaks came to an end last month as her final scenes playing Becky Quentin aired.

But Katie McGlynn seemed to be reminiscing about her holidays rather than her soap role on Sunday, as she posted a sizzling throwback snap to Instagram.

The actress, 28, showed off her toned legs as she posed in a neon pink and black scoop neck swimsuit that also gave a glimpse of her ample cleavage.

The blonde beauty left her tousled curls to flow freely in the snap, clutching onto her phone as she held the side of the boat for balance.

Katie sported a bronzed makeup look with dark eye makeup in the picture, which highlighted her beauty.

In the caption, she wrote to her 330,000 followers: ‘When you don’t realise you’re in the moment…until it’s a memory #reminiscing #holidays #restingbeachface’

The actress bid farewell to Hollyoaks after nine months, following her previous role as Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street.

Her role in the soap saw a storyline of controversy, with her character making derogatory comments to Asian character Serena Chen-Williams about China and the pandemic.

Katie recently revealed that this led to her receiving death threats while playing the controversial role, but enjoyed the experience and described her time on the soap as ‘an absolute pleasure’.

Taking to Instagram after the last episode to comment on her departure, Katie wrote: ‘It’s been an absolute pleasure playing Becky and getting my teeth into something so different and gritty.

‘As an actor, to be able to portray someone that has so much likeness to extremely current global issues from conspiracy theories to anti-vaxxers, coronavirus and sinophobia…

‘I really hope the storyline has helped raise some important issues and helps people see how easy it is for someone to be sucked into this whole world of fake news and conspiracy!’

She went on to thank Hollyoaks for their hospitality and welcoming nature, whilst teasing upcoming projects, writing: ‘Thank you to the entire cast and crew for being so unbelievably amazing and welcoming me with open arms! I will miss you all, but other exciting opportunities beckon… ‘
