Kyle Sandilands has expressed fears the TikTok app could be a ‘gateway to OnlyFans’.

The radio host, 50, said on his KIIS FM radio show on Thursday that the app encourages children to earn a living by making content.

‘Tiktokkers turn into OnlyFans people. The idea of life and work is making money on TikTok or OnlyFans,’ he said.

His shocked co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson responded: ‘I don’t think it has anything to do with TikTok.’

‘It’s a gateway platform,’ Kyle insisted.

During Tuesday, the radio show’s producers said that telling the court ‘I work in media’ almost guarantees you won’t be selected for a trial.

The discussion began when one of the staffers, John Nicholson, revealed he’d been called to serve on a court trial that is expected to last 28 weeks.

After running down a list of possible excuses to get out of jury duty – including ‘acting crazy’ and ‘pretending to be a white supremist’ – host Kyle Sandilands joked that being a media professional was a good one because ‘they lie’.

KIIS FM guest booker Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Blazquez then said she’d heard the courts ‘don’t like media people’ to serve as jury members.

While it’s unclear why exactly this is the case, it has long been rumoured that media types are considered undesirable jurors.

Jackie O also said one easy way to avoid selection is to offer ‘extreme opinions’ when meeting court officials.

Newsreader Brooklyn Ross joked that anyone turning up to court for jury duty wearing a ‘F**k the Police’ T-shirt would almost certainly be excused.
