Queen Letizia of Spain, 50, stepped out for an engagement in Madrid yesterday wearing a powder blue skirt and white blouse. Letizia’s appearance came as Santander’s XIV Call for Social Projects ‘Euros de tu Nómina’, which promotes projects that seek to improve society, held its closing ceremony in the Spanish capital.
Her attendance at the event comes after a busy few weeks for the Spanish Queen.
Letizia had attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral at Westminster Abbey on September 19.
Two days later, she joined US First Lady Jill Biden, 71, in New York as the pair visited Columbia University’s new Irving Medical Centre.
The duo also addressed the room ahead of World Cancer Research Day.

However, Letizia’s appearance yesterday showed the Queen’s stylish side as she wore a sleeveless high neck white shirt paired with her Hugo Boss sky blue pencil midi skirt with an inbuilt belt.
She also opted for navy sling backs and kept her hair loose, albeit tucked behind her ears.
Upon arrival at the event in Madrid, the Spanish Queen also wore a navy blazer over her shoulders.
The event’s closing ceremony came as attendees celebrated the 14th edition of ‘Euros en tu Nomina’.
