Married At First Sight star Rhyce Power doubles down after sharing offensive meme

Married At First Sight star Rhyce Power doubles down after sharing offensive meme: ‘Stop being so sensitive and have a laugh’

Rhyce Power has doubled down after a meme he shared offended some of his followers.

The sibling of Married At First Sight star Jessika Power, who appeared briefly on the show as the ‘hot brother’, posted the content to his Instagram Stories.

It read: ‘If I have a daughter and the most important thing to her is her getting 5D volume lashes and then her nails done so that they match her new scrunch bum gym set… All just so she can take 400 photos in front of a random beige wall in the foyer of her sugar daddy’s apartment building… word she’s getting put in the bin.’

Shortly after Rhyce, 29, posted the meme to Instagram Stories, it was shared by the Instagram account Celebrity Influencer Opinions.

They wrote in the caption: ‘Let’s bring women down at a time they are hurting most’.

Rhyce re-shared the accounts post on Sunday, alongside an angry response defending his original posting of the meme.

Rhyce announced his engagement to girlfriend Taylor Peters in July last year.

Fans of the reality star were understandably shocked by the revelation, given that Rhyce had never introduced Taylor as his girlfriend on Instagram before.

‘I’m very happy for my brother and Taylor – I’ve known his intentions for some time and I’m so overjoyed to see her say yes,’ the reality star enthused.

‘I’m very pleased to welcome Taylor into the family and I hope they both have a happy and healthy future together.’

Taylor, a Queensland-based false eyelash technician, went ‘Instagram official’ with Rhyce in May 2021, uploading a photo of the tattooed couple kissing at a restaurant.
