Mick Jagger swigs from a can outside the oldest rum distillery in Lyon

Mick Jagger was on fine form as he shared his latest Instagram snaps on Monday night.

The 78-year-old Rolling Stones frontman is currently in Lyon on the latest leg of the band’s tour and shared images of the places he has been visiting.

Most notably, the Gimme Shelter star swigged from a can while standing outside the oldest rum distillery called La Taverne du Perroquet.

It was only a bit of fun though and Mick’s ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick was also with him.

In one shot, Mick could be seen whipping off his face mask as the ladies all rushed towards him for the unique photo moment.

He looked rather fetching wearing a patterned shirt and cream chinos with trainers, while wearing a baseball.

Posting the snaps on Instagram, he wrote: ‘Thanks for a great night Vienna!’ and his son Lucas simply wrote: ‘Lol’ in the comments.

Mick has been been touring Europe on The Rolling Stones’ SIXTY Tour.

And he also appeared in great spirits as he explored the Austrian capital on Thursday evening, going unnoticed by fellow tourists.

In a series of snaps shared to his Instagram page the frontman stopped at a late night hotdog stand before taking to the stage at the 50,000 seat Ersnt Happel Stadium.

Sir Mick cut a casual figure wearing a light shirt which he layered under dark trousers and a denim jacket.

The musician also donned a black baseball cap for the outing as he attempted to go incognito.

It comes after Sir Mick larked around in Brussels on Monday as he continued his European tour.

The rocker posed alongside a bronze statue of the Belgian singer Jacques Brel where he pretended to steal the microphone to belt out a song.

The Paint It Black singer could also be seen enjoying a cocktail before taking in the sights, again going unnoticed by other tourists.

Immersing himself in the culture, the frontman posed against a wall honouring the late Belgian author and Tin Tin creator, Hergé.

Later he grabbed a snap of himself next to one of the city’s famous bendy buses – as well as a large pile of rubbish.

He captioned the snaps: ‘Had a great time exploring Brussels, looking forward to seeing you tonight at King Baudouin!’

The band returned triumphantly to the stage after postponing shows as a result of Mick testing positive for COVID-19.

Last month, the rocker shared an update insisting he was ‘feeling much better’, and thanked his fans for their well wishes.

Taking to Instagram, Mick said: ‘Thank you all so much for your well wishes and messages the last few days.

‘I’m feeling much better and can’t wait to get back on stage next week! The Amsterdam date has been rescheduled for July 7 and we’ll have news of the new Bern date ASAP.

He signed off: ‘See you soon! Mick’.
