Nova Brisbane radio host Ash Bradnam has won big after selling his waterside Gold Coast home for $3million.

Bradnam, who can be heard on the Ash, Kip and Luttsy breakfast show, walked away with $1.825million after purchasing the Runaway Bay pad for $1.175million, according to property records.

The 28 Shearwater Esplanade home was initially set to go to auction on February 5, but Bradnam accepted a multimillion dollar offer from a buyer just three days beforehand.

The house was listed with agent Murray Schmidt of Professionals Vertullo Real Estate.

It was one of the few homes on the visually breathtaking street to have views of the water at the front and back of the property.

Bradnam’s Gold Coast home features a master bedroom with walk in robe and ensuite, four more bedrooms, two bathrooms, balcony and a double lockup garage for two vehicles.

The main highlights of the property are the amazing views, the coveted location and quick access to the water.

Real estate agent Murray Schmidt listed the home as being in a blue chip position before it sold.

‘With the Broadwater and parkland at the front and a bridge free mooring at the rear, it’s easy to appreciate why this is tightly held and is such a coveted, blue-chip position,’ he told Realestate.com.au at the time.

Bradnam also owns an entire floor apartment in Main Beach that he bought for $1.15million in August.
