Tamzin Outhwaite reveals that she has formed unbreakable bonds with Freeze The Fear celeb co-stars

She recently appeared alongside seven other celebrities to face sub-zero conditions in BBC’s Freeze The Fear.

And Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed that the limit-testing experience has created unbreakable bonds with her co-stars.

The 51-year-old actress also admitted that despite being ‘terrified’ of the experience. it gave her a newfound confidence.

During a chat with The Sun, Tamzin explained that going through the tough conditions together made her bond with co-stars instantly.

She told the publication: ‘Even though we only knew each other for three weeks, I feel like I know them, some of them, better than I know my oldest mates.’

‘When you go through an awful lot of trauma with people, there’s a bond there that’s quite unbreakable, I think,’ she continued.

She told The Sun: 'Even though we only knew each other for three weeks, I feel like I know them, some of them, better than I know my oldest mates.'

Tamzin also explained that experience actually built her confidence, sharing: ‘I think my confidence came back when I was there.’

The actress appeared on the show alongside Strictly pro dancer Dianne Buswell, Gabby Logan. Patrice Evra, weatherman Owain Wyn Evans, singers Alfie Boe and Professor Green and Chelcee Grimes.

Showing the tight-knit bond of the group, Tamzin recently shared a slew of snaps from her time on the show to Instagram.

Describing her time on the show, she captioned: ‘To say this was a once in a lifetime experience feels like an understatement…’

The Six-part show, presented by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack, sees Dutch ‘Iceman’ Wim Hof put the eight contestants through a variety of emotionally and physically challenging activities in sub-zero conditions.

Full immersed into the experience, Tamzin and the other stars lived together in a tented village during the show, surrounded by spectacular, icy scenes of Northern Italy. 

While the stars formed a close friendship, the show didn’t come easy – as Tamzin previously admitted that she was concerned taking part could trigger a heart attack.

Revealing that her fears heightened by the fact that her mother tragically passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest.

The star explained to Love Sunday: ‘My mum died of a very sudden heart attack and, in my head, jumping into ice-cold water could trigger something like that.

‘My main fear was, “Am I going to have a heart attack when I hit the water?”

Overcoming her fears, Tamzin revealed that the experience actually brought her closer to her mum, continuing: ‘I definitely felt a sense that my mum was around, which was a lovely, warm feeling.’
