‘I’m writing you this letter to let you know that no matter how you remember it, you smashed your first tour… this year, you’ve released your first single, signed your first deal and considering signing with blank and about to go to New York to meet with ten labels in three days,’ read the letter – which was written in June 2019.

‘A bit about me, I trust my gut on everything and I hope when you’re reading this a year from now you remain the same old bad b**ch you are today. I hope you didn’t spend too much time worrying about what people think.’

She added: ‘Don’t change for anyone and be the example for other artists, never take yourself too seriously.’

After writing in the letter to always be there for family and friends, Tones and I reminded herself how strong she was and included that she had a personal goal to buy a house.

‘You’ve done one of the hardest things anyone will ever do, you can do anything you set your mind to and let me tell you, you’re a stubborn motherf***er,’ she wrote.

‘I really hope when you’re a year older, you’re kinder, caring, generous, be the person you want to be in your life,’ she finished.
