‘It just shows how down to earth he is’: Tyson Fury spends £3 on charity shop sunglasses and poses with customers – after cashing in £26.2m in world title fight
Tyson Fury was hailed for being ‘down to earth’ after the two-time world heavyweight champion visited a local charity shop and purchased a £3 pair of sunglasses.
The Gypsy King, who lives in his birth town Cheshire with wife Paris and their six children, was enjoying some quality time with his family last week when he popped into Cancer Research and delighted shocked customers by chatting and having photos with them.
It comes almost two weeks after the WBC champion, 33, cashed in £26.2million for knocking out Dillian Whyte.

Per The Sun, an onlooker in Wilmslow, Cheshire, said: ‘He was very relaxed and seemed so happy to be there. He was asking the staff about their work and posing for pics with anyone who’d ask.’
‘It’s mad that someone so wealthy would want to come to a charity shop. It just shows how down to earth and what a nice, honest bloke Tyson is.’
The charity shop visit comes after Tyson said he is hanging up his boxing gloves for good after successfully retaining his WBC title after overcoming Dillian Whyte with a sixth-round stoppage at Wembley Stadium on the weekend.

The boxer secured his victory in front of a record British crowd of 94,000 fans after unleashing a brutal uppercut that thudded off the challenger’s chin and sent him tumbling to the canvas.
Speaking immediately after the fight, Tyson reiterated the fact that he would be walking away from the sport as he promised his wife Paris that he would retire from boxing after 20 years in the ring.
However, it remains to be seen as to whether Tyson will keep to his word. But, if history is anything thing to go by… we could see the Gypsy King back in action sometime soon.

Very few boxers walk away from their careers while in their prime and with Tyson currently undefeated with an impressive record of 32-0-1 and in with a chance of landing a unification bout with either Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk it seems hard to believe he will hang up his gloves for good.
Family is fundamental for Tyson, and he, Paris and their six children enjoyed a day out over the bank holiday.
Media personality Paris looked on cloud nine as she posed for a snap alongside her brood who all donned matching red tracksuits.
Paris bucked the trend as she opted for a white v-neck top which she wore with a matching pair of jeans.
