Vanessa Hudgens unveils another seductive Caliwater commercial


Caliwater co-founder Vanessa Hudgens unveiled another seductive, Joshua Tree-set commercial for the canned cactus water she launched last April.

In it, the half-Filipina 33-year-old donned about 40 inches of hair extensions and flaunted her petite 5ft1in figure in a black sheer dress and an orange maxi-dress.

The 25-calorie organic antioxidant rich water comes in two flavors – wild prickly pear and ginger & lime – and for each $2.99 can sold five cents are donated to the children’s charity, No Kid Hungry.

‘Prickly Pear Cactus has shown to lower cholesterol, regulate blood sugar levels, and provides natural anti-viral properties,’ the Caliwater website claimed.

‘It contains five naturally occurring electrolytes to boost hydration and is packed with skin-fortifying antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and 200mg of Prickly Pear Extract which is a proven hangover relief.’

On Thursday, Vanessa reunited with her co-founder and friend of 14 years, Oliver Trevena, at the Natural Products Expo West inside Anaheim Convention Center.

‘I’m talking to everybody about the thing that I love!’ Hudgens exclaimed.

The business partners also had some help promoting Caliwater from Pretty Smart actor Gregg Sulkin and former Wild On host Brooke Burke, who dutifully joined them in Booth #N211.

Vanessa reteamed with her Sucker Punch director Zack Snyder to voice a character called Willow in Netflix’s six-episode animated prequel series Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas.

‘Zack wanted me to stay pretty true to myself. He didn’t really want me to put on a voice,’ Hudgens told Collider Ladies Night back in October.

‘He said that a certain piece of me is very similar to the character, so just lean into that specific aspect of myself and just have fun. And he’s still like a big kid, so when I’m around him or working with him it’s very easy to just have fun.’

Jena Malone, Tig Notaro, Christian Slater, Joe Manganiello, and Ross Butler also voiced characters in Lost Vegas due out later this year.

The High School Musical alum’s movie tick, tick… BOOM! is up for best picture and best actor (Andrew Garfield) at the 27th Critics’ Choice Awards, which air this Sunday on The CW/TBS.

Vanessa portrayed actress Karessa Johnson in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s critically-acclaimed feature directorial debut based on Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning, 1990 off-off-Broadway musical drama.
