Baking soda and salt
Mix half a cup of each substance together and pour it down your drain, before allowing it to sit in your drain for up to overnight.
Then use boiling water to clean the drain, as with the baking soda and vinegar tip above.
Don’t forget an old-fashioned plunger to remove food stuck in the pipes.
Don’t pour grease down the sink
Oil and grease should never be poured down the sink as it will become hard in the pipes.
Pour it into a jar and when the jar is full, throw it away.
Pour boiling water down the sink
Pour boiling water down the plug once a week to help dislodge and dissolve the build up of debris.
