The Duke of Sussex caused more controversy last week after appearing on the American Expert podcast. While chatting to host Dax Shepard about mental health and life in LA, Harry started complaining about the media “feeding frenzy” surrounding himself and his family. The Prince told Mr Shepard that he found the US First Amendment, that protects the freedom of the press, “bonkers”.
Conservative commentator Jesse Watters joked that the Duke of Sussex was worse than Donald Trump when it came to complaining about the media.
He told The Five on Fox News: “Well if he thinks the First Amendment is bonkers, wait till he hears about the Second one.
“This guy complains about the press more than Donald Trump.”
Mr Watters went onto to question whether Harry can speak out against the First Amendment as a royal.
He said: “Is he a member of the Royal family? I didn’t think Royals were allowed to complain.
“Nobody else in his family complains about anything except the climate, I guess.”

During the course of the 90-minute interview with Mr Shepard, the Duke of Sussex continued to make damaging public accusations against members of his family, as well as the Royal institution.
In addition to criticising his father’s parenting skills, he described royal life as a “a mix between The Truman Show and living in a zoo” and claimed he wanted out when he was in early 20s.
He said: “I was thinking I don’t want this job, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be doing this. Look what it did to my mum.”
