Alongside a selfie, make-up free Zara laid in bed and asked her followers: ‘Does anyone else just not enjoy sleep? I sleep because I have to, not because I want to.’

‘I get zero excitement to get into bed because for some reason my brain works best between the hours of 10pm and 1am which means I often send work messages and emails at ridiculous hours, come up with ideas etc.

‘But at the same time I want to go to sleep fast because I have a very regimented to do list tomorrow that I need to tick off every item,’ the Love Island star confessed.

She continued: ‘I’m already excited for my alarm to go off at 7am so I can start getting stuff done. Am I a workaholic? Maybe. I anyone else like this or am I just a complete weirdo?’

‘I plan my days in 30-minute segments. Every single bloody day, it’s tiring but if I don’t do it, I will get stressed and overwhelmed.’

It comes as Zara, who appeared on season four of Love Island, revealed some show secrets – admitting that crew come in and out of the villa every day, and contestants usually know when a text is on the way.

As her boyfriend Sam Thompson, 29, took to his Instagram Story to quiz Zara on the matter, she agreed that ‘Basically there’s just loads of people chilling around’ in the villa – confirming that crew do go into the villa with the islanders.

Turning to his girlfriend, an intrigued Sam asked: ‘I have a question for you, I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, do you have a chef? You don’t cook all your own meals.’

While Zara replied: ‘No, so you cook your own breakfast but you have caterers for lunch and dinner. They cook the food on site, they bring it into the villa and you serve yourself like a buffet.’
