Wrong Place trailer finds Bruce Willis going to great lengths to protect his daughter


Bruce Willis will do whatever it takes to protect his daughter – played by Ashley Greene – in the new trailer for Wrong Place.

The 67-year-old Willis stars as Frank, a former police chief turned security guard who stops Virgil (Massi Furlan) from killing another man, Leon (Adam Huel Potter).

When Virgil is sent to jail, he sends Jake (Michael Sirow) after Frank, his daughter Chloe and her friend Tammy (Stacey Danger).

The trailer begins with Jake and Virgil chasing Leon through the woods, as he Leon falls in front of a building as Virgil catches up to him

‘Look you need me, you know that,’ a bloodied Leon says, but Virgil draws his gun and says, ‘You don’t leave me much of a choice.’

Before he pulls the trigger, though, Frank walks out of the building and fires a shot at Virgil’s hands.

The police come and arrest Virgil, as Jake watches from the trees above, as Virgil says, ‘You’re gonna regret this.’

Frank is giving his statement to Captain East (Texas Battle), who tells him they have no video surveillance, as Frank says, ‘Just my testimony?’ which East says, ‘Kind of complicates things.’

Jake enters the store as a civilian contractor, saying he’s there to upgrade the security cameras, but Jerry (John D. Hickman) says, ‘You’re in the wrong place.’

‘We’ve got Frank Richards, used to be a police captain,’ Jake is told, as Frank says his daughter is coming to town.

Chloe is driving with Tammy, with Chloe saying, ‘It’s good to be back,’ as Tammy says, ‘You really are a back country girl.’

Jake visits Virgil in jail, telling him, ‘You be clever out there, son,’ as Jake answers, ‘Yes dad,’ as Jake puts a mask on and enters Frank’s cabin where Chloe and Tammy are staying.

He fires his weapon into the ceiling, asking where Frank is at, and then having Chloe call him.

‘I’m just at the cabin and I wanted to make sure you’re still coming,’ Chloe tells her father.

Chloe asks Jake, ‘why do you need to get to my dad?’ and he simply answers, ‘To fix what’s broke.’

Chloe pulls out a knife and says, ‘I’m ready for whatever comes my way, as Chloe is seen wrestling with Jake, taking a steaming hot kettle to his head.

Frank is seen telling someone on the phone to ‘send backup’ as Chloe is seen grappling with Jake again in the woods.

Jake tells him, ‘Nothing personal, pal, he’s just in the wrong place at the wrong time,’ when Jake reacts to a branch breaking, giving Frank time to pull his weapon, as the trailer comes to an end. 

Willis announced through his family in late March that he has aphasia and that he is retiring from acting.

He still has four movies yet to be released, including Wrong Place, which will be released through Vertical Entertainment on July 15.

The actor also has Die Like Lovers, due out in September, plus Wine Room and Paradise City, which are in post-production and don’t have release dates yet.
