Zazie Beetz and Lilly Singh rock stunning looks on the red carpet at a special screening of their animated film The Bad Guys

Zazie Beetz and Lily Singh rocked much different but equally elegant looks while celebrating their new animated film The Bad Guys.

Beetz, 30, and Singh, 33, were all smiles on the red carpet of the special screening, held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

They were joined by their co-stars Anthony Ramos and Marc Maron ahead of the DreamWorks Animation film hitting theaters on April 22.

Beetz stepped out with a black mini-dress with a white flare down the front that fell to her mid-thigh.

She had her hair pulled up with small silver hoop earrings for her red carpet look, including a number of rings. 

The Atlanta star completed her look with glittering silver platform heels and a unique black handbag.

Singh opted for a stunning black pantsuit with a black top under a black suit coat with unique leopard print lining the lapels and the pockets.

She also had her dark hair pulled back with hook-shaped gold earrings and a small gold nose ring as well.

She completed her look with a thick gold necklace, black pants and thick-soled black dress shoes.

The Bad Guys is an animated comedy that centers on a group of criminal animals who attempt to reform their dastardly ways.

Beetz lends her voice to a character known as Diane Foxington, a red fox who is the governor in this world.

Singh lends her voice to Tiffany Fluffit, a human news reporter who covers the criminals known as The Bad Guys.

Beetz and Singh both posed together with smiles on their faces on the red carpet before heading in to the screening.

Singh also posed with Ramos, who voices the youngest criminal in The Bad Guys, Mr. Piranha, who rocked a white shirt under a light blue coat, black pants and white sneakers. 

Marc Maron was also in attendance, who voices a safe-cracker known as Mr. Snake, who was wearing a white shirt, brown coat, grey pants and brown shoes.
